Who are qualified to avail SSS Salary Loan?

• To join, you must be an employee, self-employed or voluntary member.
• To qualify for a one-month loan, you must have posted 36 monthly contributions, or 72 monthly contributions for a two-month loan. A minimum of six (6) of these contributions must have been made within the last 12 months before submitting the application.
• The employer, if any, must be updated in the payment of contributions.
• Applicants must be under 65 years of age.
• It must not have been granted final benefits, such as death, retirement, or total permanent disability.
• Further, you must not have been disqualified by SSS fraud.

How to Apply SSS Salary Loan Online?

Prior to this, you had to go to the SSS Branch to apply for a salary loan from the SSS. However, since November 2019, all salary loan applications must be submitted online. It is no longer necessary to submit any documents in SSS branches, you just need to log into your SSS Online Account.
